And there are many advantages in rediscovering the pleasure of hearing. <\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #0084b0;\"><strong> Better pinpointing of sounds.<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #969799;\"> It becomes much easier to locate the source of sounds and judge their distance. For example, when walking, you will be able to tell if a car is coming and how far away it is, even if you can\u2019t see it. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #0084b0;\"><strong> Better level of amplification.<\/strong> <\/span><span style=\"color: #969799;\">With one hearing aid, the amplification has to be stronger to compensate for the other ear. The sounds become less natural, more distorted, especially loud sounds, and that can be very unpleasant. Hearing aids are designed to work in pairs, somewhat like speakers and earphones. The amplification of two hearing aids can be less strong and more balanced because they are adjusted to the same level in each ear, producing more natural sounds that are easier to tolerate. It even helps hear weaker sounds, like children\u2019s or women\u2019s voices. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #0084b0;\"><strong> Better speech comprehension amidst noise.<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #969799;\">Whether you\u2019re in a restaurant or at a family get together, you can enjoy\u2014and understand\u2014these moments to the fullest.
